Android smartphone users beware, some of the most-popular tracking apps,
that you use to guard your children and family may actually be spying on you.
According to a report in Cybernews, some of the top Android apps for tracking kids and family members could be exposing your and your family member’s information to hackers/cyber criminals.
The report has named these Android apps that have been downloaded over 85 million times on Google Play Store.
It claims that these apps do not have the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate properly implemented, which makes them vulnerable to man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks. This means that hackers can eavesdrop on the data flowing through them.
The report also rates them on Mobile Security Framework (MobSF). Here are the names and their rating.
