Tech giant Google has launched its own UPI payment app Google Pay, which is one of the popular payment apps that allows users to shop online, pay bills, recharge mobile, or send and receive money directly from/in your bank account in real-time using Unified Payments Interface (UPI).
The app allows users to make transactions with the help of a UPI ID, QR code, address, account number and mobile number.
What is a UPI PIN?
UPI PIN is a 4-digit or 6-digit number that you enter while adding a new payment account or making a transaction. They act as a medium for initiating and receiving transactions.
Users don’t have to go through usual modes of payment like National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT), Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), cheques or Net Banking to initiate transactions.
This is an app which is offered by all banks to transfer payments quickly.
