How to listen to radio on iPhone for free


Gone are the days when people used to tune in to radio stations on their smartphones. These days with music streaming platforms, radio isn’t something that people use on phones. However, if you want to listen to radio on an iPhone, then there’s a way out.

Thanks to Broadcast Radio (Available in Apple iTunes) and Siri- iPhone’s built-in voice assistant that allows users to play thousands of broadcast radio stations on iPhone.

Prerequisites:
iPhone (with iOS 13/14/15)
Siri enabled
iTunes

2.

Say something like, “Play Wild 94.9” or any other favourite radio station of your choice.

3.

Tap Search and enter the name of the station in the search field.

4.

Tap on any one of the channels appearing in the search result.

5.

Select a station in the Radio tab: Tap Radio, swipe up, and choose a station under the Local Broadcasters or International Broadcasters option.


Do Note: You need a subscription to Apple Music to listen to broadcast radio. However, this feature is not available in all the countries or regions. Neither all the station are available in all countries or region.
