Dozens of Palestinians have been killed and others injured in a series of Israeli air strikes across Gaza in the last few hours, Wafa news agency has reported, citing local and medical sources.
In Gaza City, dozens were killed and injured in an Israeli air strike targeting a group of civilians in Dahdouh Square, while several were injured following Israeli shelling targeting Industry Street in the Al-Zaytoun neighbourhood in the south of Gaza City.
Wafa also reported that Israeli forces targeted displaced people in Al-Falah School with smoke bombs, forcing them to evacuate.
The European Gaza Hospital in southern Gaza also reported nine deaths and several injuries, following an Israeli air strike near the Asqalan School east of Khan Younis.
