Realme 10 Pro+ review: The eye candy

Inside the two camera modules, there are three lenses – a 108MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro.

The primary 108MP camera uses 9-in-1 pixel binning, so you get a 12MP photo every time you take the phone out to click a picture. But the camera can also click 108MP shots.

As for how good the 108MP camera is, it clicks detailed shots with commendable dynamic range, but at times the pictures turn out to be oversaturated, especially the greens. At night, the camera clicks nice shots with balanced highlights and shadows. One thing that irks us is the lack of OIS, which was present in the Realme 9 Pro+. There is EIS (Electronic Image Stabilisation), but that is not as useful as optical stabilisation.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the other two cameras – the 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro. The ultrawide struggles no matter if it’s day or night. And the macro will not prove useful in any scenario.
