Hamas rockets strike Israeli cities, causing injury and destruction – Israel News

Hamas-fired rockets struck several cities and towns over the weekend, wounding many Israelis and destroying homes and buildings.

Several people suffered minor to moderate wounds in the center of the country. Others suffered from shock.

Four people were hurt, two moderately, when a rocket slammed into a Tel Aviv apartment building on Friday.

The victims, aged from 20 to 78, were taken to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center for treatment. A 53-year-old man suffered a moderate abdominal wound and a 20-year-old moderate injuries to his head and limbs. The two others suffered from smoke inhalation.

On Saturday night, three people with minor wounds received treatment from Magen David Adom emergency responders after rockets fell in Tel Aviv, Holon, and Yehud. A man, about 50, suffered from smoke inhalation when a fire broke out in Holon. Two others sustained minor injuries while running to protected areas in Tel Aviv and Yehud.

Rockets struck Beersheba, Dimona, and Rishon Lezion. In Sderot, missiles fell in a parking lot of a residential neighborhood and on a house. The town has been evacuated, and there were no casualties.

Rockets also struck down in Ashkelon, causing damage and shock but no injuries. Sirens wailed in the upper and western Galilee, too.

Samson Assuta Ashdod University Hospital confirmed the death of a nine-year-old Ashdod girl who suffered a cardiac arrest in response to a siren a week ago.
